Accordingly, the following individuals are also on the sanction list: Aljo Vidal Quadras, president of ISJ; Javier Zarazlejos, co-chairperson of the so-called Friends of Free Iran; Milan Azver, co-chairperson of the so-called Friends of Free Iran; Charlier Weimer, member of European Parliament; Jan Zahradil, member of European Parliament; Helmot Geuking, member of European Parliament; Hermann Tertsch, member of European Parliament; Meyer Habib, member of the National Assembly of France; Matine Valleton, Mayor of Villepinte; Jean Francois Legaret, Former Mayor of Paris District -1; Johannes Boie, editor-in-chief of the Bild-Zeitung (newspaper); Alexandra Würzbach, editor-in-chief of the Bild-Zeitung.
The sanctions include a ban on issuing visas, refusal of the mentioned people’s entering Iran, and confiscation of their assets in the Islamic country. All Iranian governmental entities will do whatever is needed to sanction the European individuals and organizations mentioned.
The Islamic Republic reminds the EU and the European governments to hold the entities and individuals accountable for supporting terrorism and riot on Iranian soil. The sanction policy will not hinder the criminal proceedings of the wrongdoers.
The Foreign Ministry repeatedly and categorically condemns the EU’s imposition of sanctions on Iranian entities and individuals based on unfounded accusations, which is an apparent intervention in the internal affairs of the Islamic Republic.
