Iran Press/ Iran news: Mohammad-Hassan Ghousian-Moghaddam, Secretary-General of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, said: "Today, we delivered 22nd consignment of coronavirus vaccine prepared by the Red Crescent Society, containing 6 million single-dose vaccines, to the Ministry of Health at Imam Khomeini Airport."
Ghousian-Moghaddam, announcing the import of single-dose vaccine for ages 3 to 17 from today, said: "Today, 6 million doses of coronavirus vaccine (single dose) out of a total of 12 million recommended doses for ages 3 to 17 entered the country and were delivered to the Ministry of Health."
The Secretary-General of the Iranian Red Crescent Society added: "With the arrival of the first shipment of 6 million doses to Iran, we have imported 46 million and 390 thousand doses of vaccine to the country since five months ago."
The Secretary-General of the Iranian Red Crescent Society noted: "According to the plan, every week or twice a week, we will import heavier shipments of the corona vaccine, which is Sinopharm type."
Ghousian-Moghaddam, stating that now more than one million vaccines are injected daily in the country, said: "The largest volume of vaccines imported to the country was of the Sinopharm type, which had the most impact with the least side effects."
