Iran Press/ Europe: Kazem Gharibabadi announced that Mohammad Eslami, chief of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) hold a meeting with IAEA chief Rafael Grossi.
In this meeting, while acknowledging that Iran is an important partner for the IAEA, the two sides agreed to establish a relationship of respect and goodwill.
Gharibabadi added that the two sides also discussed mutual cooperation in various fields and reviewed several issues of mutual interest.
Eslami, who is in Vienna to attend the 65th session of the General Assembly of the International Atomic Energy Agency, also met with the Director-General of the state-owned company Rosatom a few hours ago.
The two sides discussed bilateral cooperation.
The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran also addressed the General Assembly of the IAEA this morning.
"Iran is the cradle of civilizations and a peace-loving country that has historically contributed technology and science to the world," Eslami said at the meeting.

As stated by the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the SCO Summit on September 17, 2021, "Nothing can stop Iran's peaceful nuclear activities within the framework of international law", he added.
Eslami also called on the IAEA to refrain from politicking, stating that the time had come for the United States to correct its misguided policies by lifting all sanctions in a practical, effective and verifiable manner. 219
