The government spokesman, referring to unrest in some parts of the country, said that fortunately people once again demonstrated that they understand the opportunistic measures of a limited number of people.

Iran Press/Iran news: The government spokesman Ali Rabiei told reporters on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting on Wednesday that evidence shows some who took to the streets on Sunday were in pursuit of certain rioting and violent objectives, and the vigilant Iranian people separated themselves from the rioters.

Rabiei referred to the Leader's stance vis-a-vis the turmoil in some parts of the country noting that the Leader with anticipation of the unrest, took a stance that helped ease tensions in the country, Iran Press reported.

Rabiei also announced the government's decision not to increase the price of basic commodities and public services by the end of the current Iranian year (which ends in March 2020) and no government department or state-owned company is entitled to increase prices of their goods or services. 101/211/219
