Ramsar (IP) - Governor of Ramsar stressed that the city will be a good host for the summit of Radio and Television Channels of the member states of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) known as 'ECOMU'.

Iran PressIran news: Mohammad Azad in an exclusive interview with Iran Press said: "The province enjoys many natural and geographical potential and advantages which annually hosts tourists from around the country as well as other countries."

"The province is located in the Caspian Sea with Hyrcanian forests, and eye-catching and beautiful beaches are among the significant capacities of the province. In addition to these capacities, the people of the area are hospitable and friendly", the high ranking official stated.

Pointing out that Ramsar will host a major international meeting on November 2-3, the governor reiterated: "The city of Ramsar in Mazandaran province has very high capacities. Near the mountains and the sea, with beautiful beaches, forests and good weather, natural and mineral hot waters, Telecabin, as well as the airport and the eco-tourism can be a very good potential for the city of Ramsar, and Mazandaran as well."

Azad also said: "We as the host consider the ECO member states who participate in the summit as friendly countries with great capacities in various sections and have many desirable exchanges in different parts with the Islamic Republic of Iran and the province."

The Summit of the Heads of Radio and TV channels of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) member states is scheduled to be held on November 2-3, 2019 at Ramsar, Mazandaran province in northern Iran.

Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan are the 10 ECO member states.

On the sidelines of the Summit, a Tourism Investment Opportunities session, as well as an exhibition of handicrafts, medicinal herbs, and fisheries, are being held aimed at introducing the capabilities of Mazandaran province.
