Qom (IP) - People of Qom, to the south of Tehran, took part in the mourning processions and rituals of Tasu'a on the 9th day of Muharram mourning ceremonies, and on the eve of Ashura.

Iran Press/Iran news: Non-Iranian tourists also attended the ceremony, as these days are a unique time for tourists to take part and become acquainted with the Shiite rituals that take place during the first ten days of the month Muharram.

Tasu'a mourning processions are held a day before the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (PBUH), the grandson of Prophet Mohammad and the third Imam of Shia Muslims.
