Iran Press/ Iran news: Iran's Minister of Health and Medical Education Saeed Namaki made the remarks on Monday night during his visit to the Medical Centers in the north-eastern city of Sabzevar, Razavi Khorasan, saying that the amount of drug shortage has had a major decrease compared to last year.
“With the approval of the Iranian Government and the Parliament, the budget of the Ministry of Health will be increased by about 15% compared to the current year,” the official added.
The Health Minister went on to say that despite the scarcity of resources and economic problems, one thousand health-care plans are ready to be implemented in the country.
“During the next 20 weeks to the National Iranian ‘Health Week 2020’, each week, 50 health plans will be put in place with a top priority for deprived areas to increase equitable access to health services in the country,” Namaki added.
During his trip to Sabzevar, Iran's Minister of Health and Medical Education inaugurated seven health projects in Sabzevar and several counties in the west of Razavi Khorasan Province.
