Tehran (IP) - The spokesperson of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: Since the beginning of the crisis in Ukraine, the Islamic Republic of Iran has never been a part of this military conflict and its continuation, and has always supported a political solution and bilateral talks to end this crisis.

Iran Press/Iran News: Regarding the claim of sending Iranian ballistic missiles to Russia, the spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Kanaani, said: As has been emphasized many times, the Islamic Republic of Iran, while opposing the war, supports a political solution to resolve the differences between Russia and Ukraine and end the military conflicts.

Kanaani emphasized that the principled and announced approach of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the Ukraine crisis remains unchanged and the repetition of the claim of sending ballistic missiles to Russia is made with the political goals and motives of some Western countries and is completely baseless.

The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran added: The conventional military cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Russia has a history much older than the start of the war in Ukraine. These cooperations are within the framework of bilateral agreements, based on international norms and laws, and have nothing to do with the Ukraine crisis. 204
