Iran Press/Iran News: Saeid Namaki also noted that Iran was faced with a painstaking crisis when enemies blatantly said that they did not impose sanctions on medicines, namely anti-coronavirus medications.
Speaking at the inauguration of the "Iran COVID-19 Emergency Response Project (ICERP)" (ICERP) project held at Iran Health Ministry, Namaki stressed the ways how Iran had defeated the sanctions.
Fortunately, despite the shortages, no coronavirus-infected patients left without medical help even the patients having other health challenges rather than coronavirus infection.
However, foreign medical services have done any efforts to destroy Iran's image.
Namaki added that the infrastructure of Iran Health Ministry has developed amid the coronavirus pandemic and 2500 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds were added to hospitals.
The plan for combating COVID-19 dubbed as Martyr Qasem Soleimani plan has significantly declined the coronavirus death toll. The deaths reached a two-digit number in forty days after the plan was put into practice.
The world had estimated Iran's death toll to reach 1200 people a day in 40 days, though. With advanced medical services the other world countries, it's tragic to say, have experienced thousands of deaths on a daily basis, said the minister.
