Iran Press/ Iran news: Guterres and Amir-Abdollahian spoke by phone on Wednesday, UN Spokesman Stéphane Dujarric said.
The two sides exchanged views on several issues, including Yemen, Afghanistan and developments in the Persian Gulf region, Dujarric said in a statement.
Guterres and Amir-Abdollahian also conferred on the Iran nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPoA), the UN spokesman noted.
