IP - Iran's first vice president, Mohammad Reza Aref in Riyadh meets and consults with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman.

Iran Press/West Asia: Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref attended the Extraordinary Joint Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League in the Saudi capital Riyadh on Monday after delivering a speech at the summit, met the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman.

Aref in his speech at the Riyadh Summit said that all Muslim and Arab countries shoulder a heavy responsibility to take a firm and collective measure aimed at stopping the Israeli regime’s crimes against the Palestinians and occupation of their homeland.

Bin Salman who hosted the summit, appreciated the Islamic Republic of Iran's proposal for the emergency meeting and noted that Saudi Arabia is against Israel's attack on Lebanese territories and Israeli regime must be brought to court for its aggression against Palestine and Lebanon. 

Israel’s genocide in Gaza has killed at least 43,603 Palestinians and wounded 102,929 since October 7, 2023. 

Also in Lebanon, at least 3,189 people have been killed and 14,078 wounded in Israeli attacks since the war on Gaza began.
