Tehran (IP) - Iran's First Vice President said he discussed bartering and banking cooperation with the Prime Minister of Niger.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Veep Mohammad Mokhber officially welcomed the Prime Minister of Niger Ali Lamin Zeine at the historical-cultural complex of Saad Abad, Tehran, on Wednesday.

Mohammad Mokhber told reporters on the sidelines of his meeting with Niger's PM that the cooperation documents were signed with Niger's PM in auto engineering, house construction, overseas cultivation, bartering, and banking areas. 

Mokhebr also highlighted the issue of Palestine as another issue discussed between the two sides and expressed hope that with the Israeli regime being eradicated, peace would return to Gaza. 

He condemned the cruel sanctions on the independent countries and said Iran was ready to convey its experiences to other countries. 

Ali Lamin Zeine, for his part, appreciated Iran's hospitality and said a series of MoUs were signed between the two countries, expressing hope for their implementation.  

Lamin Zeini met with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi this morning.

Niger's Prime Minister  Ali Lamin Zain,  arrived in Iran at the official invitation of the First Vice President Mohammad Mokhbar, on a 3-day trip on  Jan.21, 2024.

In July 2023, Ebrahim Raisi traveled to three African countries to develop relations and expand cooperation with the African continent's countries.
