Iran Press/ Europe: Explaining Iran's stance on Syria, Khaji stressed the need to respect Syria's national sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity, and the need to counter terrorism in the region during this meeting.
He also underlined the need to resolve the Syrian crisis through the Syrian-Syrian dialogue, the continuation of the Constitutional Committee activities, and announced Iran's readiness to support this measure.
Emphasizing the need to implement the existing agreements in Idlib, he stated: "It is necessary that the committee on the exchange of abducted and missing persons resumes to work as a humane and trust-building issue."
