Bosnian and Herzegovina (IP) - Iran sent a cargo of humanitarian aid to the flood-hit Bosnian people, which was delivered to the relevant Bosnian relief official with the presence of the Islamic Republic's ambassador to Sarajevo.

Iran Press/Europe: In the wake of heavy rain, a flood inundated different parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially in Herzegovina, and caused serious damage to the infrastructure, destroyed 1,700 houses, and claimed the lives of 25 people.

the Iranian ambassador Abouzar Ebrahimi Torkaman said that the aid was prepared by the Islamic Republic's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other charity institutes and was delivered to Marahamat Institute to be distributed among the flood-hit people.

The humanitarian aid sent to Bosnia and Herzegovina included dry food, water, conserves, and other items necessary for the people.
