Syria (IP)-The Iranian Embassy in Syria distributed 4,000 food packages in the Palestinian camp of Yarmouk on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

Iran PressMiddle East: The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Syria distributed 4,000 food packages in a ceremony on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan in the Palestinian camp of Yarmouk.

A number of leaders of the Palestinian fighter groups who were present at the ceremony appreciated Iran's unquestionable assistance to the people and fighters in occupied Palestine.

The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Syria also stated in the ceremony that the principle of supporting the cause of Palestine and the fighters of resistance against the Zionist occupation is the principled position and the unchangeable principle of the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran and said: "The declaration of World Quds Day on the last Friday of Ramadan by Imam Khomeini (RA), the founder of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, was the code name for supporting the Palestinian people, which will continue until the oppressed people of this land achieve their rights."

Condemning the criminal attacks of Zionist fighters on southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, Mahdi Sobhani stated: "The operations of the resistance fighters, especially inside the occupied territories, have caused the Zionist regime to sink into a deep crisis."
