Iran Press/Iran news: The spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health announced on Monday that 962,070 people in the country have been infected with the coronavirus, and 668,151 of the total infected people recovered.
"According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to November 30, 2020, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 reached 13,321 cases out of whom 2,277 patients were hospitalized," the Spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health Sima Sadat Lari stated.
She added that in the past 24 hours, 371 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 48,246.
5,852 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.
So far, 6,125,348 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman noted.
She pointed out that Provinces of Tehran, Isfahan, Qom, East Azerbaijan, South Khorasan, Semnan, Qazvin, Lorestan, Ardabil, Khuzestan, Kermanshah, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Gilan, Bushehr, Zanjan, Ilam, Khorasan Razavi, Mazandaran, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Alborz, West Azerbaijan, Markazi, Kerman, North Khorasan, Hamadan, Yazd, and Kurdistan are regarded as red zones.
Hormozgan, Fars, Golestan, and Sistan and Baluchestan provinces are also regarded as orange and yellow zones.
