Tehran (IP)- Deputy head of the Iranian Parliament's National Security said Iran, China, and Pakistan seek to enhance their economic and trade ties.

Iran PressIran News: The Islamic Republic of Iran has strengthened economic and political ties with countries inside and outside the bloc.

The 25-year agreement between China and Iran is a significant move towards expanding political and economic cooperation to counter Western and U.S. sanctions. 

Shahriar Heidari, the Deputy Head of the Iranian Parliament's National Security, highlighted the officials' emphasis on cooperation and regional trade promotion between Iran, China, and Pakistan. Given their long-standing relationship and joint borders, he added that the countries have interacted in the economic, political, and security fields.  

Heidari stressed the importance of convergence among the officials of these countries. 

He noted that Iran, China, and Pakistan previously held a joint security meeting, which shows a severe determination to strengthen ties at different levels.
