Iranian government spokesman Ali Rabiei has stressed that killing the head of ISIS will not end Daesh terrorism because America's misguided policies are continuing, and extremist belief and ideology are still there and have not been uprooted.

Iran Press/Iran news: In further comments, Ali Rabiei said just as Osama Bin Laden's killing did not result in the uprooting of Al-Qaeda, so it is that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's death will not result in the uprooting of Daesh (also known as ISIS ) terrorism.

He pointedly added: "As long as America's misguided policies continue, Daesh terrorists will live on, because the root causes of Daesh (ISIS) terrorism have not been tackled," Iran Press reported.

He added that fighting terrorism is a good, just act, however, US foreign policy in the Middle East is the true cause of terrorism which in order to counter terrorism realistically that US policy swamp must be drained.

Regarding the situation in Syria, Rabiei stated that Iran fully endorses the Syria-Syria talks and the Syrian armed forces must keep the country secure and be stationed along its border.

The Iranian government spokesman Ali Rabiei also fully supported the minister of agriculture's earlier comments, saying the minister, Mahmoud Hojjati's comments were definitely to the benefit of Iran's agriculture industry.

The Iranian government spokesman also spoke about education reform, saying the points-of-view of student organizations will certainly be taken into account in such reforms.  211/101/219
