Iran Press/ Iran news: Colonel Milad Azad Avar, who had an accident in a conflict with fuel smugglers in Jiroft city, was martyred on Wednesday.
The security defender martyr Milad Azad Avar was born in September 1964.
On Wednesday, August 2, he was taken to the hospital due to a car accident while serving and during the mission to fight against fuel smugglers in Jiroft city. However, due to the severity of his injuries, he was martyred.
The police commander of Kerman province confirmed the martyrdom of a Jiroft police officer in a conflict with smugglers.
In explaining this news, the police Chief of Kerman province said:
"Yesterday (on Wednesday), police officers of Jiroft city, in coordination with the judicial authorities and in the implementation of the neighborhood security plan, had clashes with smugglers on the axis of Delfard to Jiroft."
He added: "In this conflict and as a result of slipping due to the fuel splashing by the smugglers and the car accident, two of the comrades were injured in the head and shoulder area and were taken to the hospital."
Stating that the smugglers involved in this conflict were arrested after the incident, this senior police official added: "Unfortunately, a few hours ago, one of our comrades, martyr Milad Azad Avar, was martyred in the hospital due to the severity of his injuries."

The funeral ceremony of the honorable martyr was held at 8:00 AM at the Ba'ath Crossroads in Jiroft.
