Iran Press/ Europe: On the second day of the the 2023 IBSA World Games, a multi-sport event for blind and partially sighted athletes, which is being held in Great Britain, Moussa Gholami, representing Iran in the 90 kg weight , defeated his Swedish opponent in the first round of the competition.
In the second round, he defeated his Kazakh, Turkish and Chinese opponents avancing to the final match.
Moussa Gholami, faced his Brazilian opponent in the final of the tournament and was able to defeat his opponent with a technical blow with authority.
The Games, taking place from 18-27 August 2023, will be held at the University of Birmingham, across the Edgbaston area and wider region. The IBSA World Games are the largest high-level international event for athletes with visual impairments, with more than 1,000 competitors from more than 70 nations.
