The political and security deputy of the Prosecutor General of Iran and the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan discussed ways to develop bilateral judicial and legal cooperation.

Iran PressAsia: Mehdi Amiri Esfahani, Iran's Deputy Attorney General for Security, and Kamran Aliyev, the Attorney General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Baku, called for the strengthening of bilateral cooperation, a comprehensive and detailed review of obstacles in bilateral relations and emphasized international obligations based on bilateral agreements.

During the meeting, two officials talked about the recent armed attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran.
