Iran Press/ Iran News: Ardabil, a city in northwestern Iran, has been selected as the tourism capital of the Economic Cooperation Organization's (ECO) member states.
The Iranian Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Ezzatollah Zarghami earlier said that the Ardabil 2023 international event would kick off on Thursday.
The event includes different programs one of which was the nomads' migration festival that was held from April 28 to 30. Holding other festivals and visiting the tourist sites of Ardabil are among the programs of the ECO tourism capital in 2023.
The nomads' lifestyle, crafts, and traditional food were introduced at the festival. Also, the Iran Press lens shows a number of Iranian nomads explaining how to bake local bread and food, along with their performing traditional music.
The ambassadors of the ECO member states along with the Iranian Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts visited the international festival.
Also, in a tweet, China's Ambassador to Tehran showed his presence at Ardabil's Chinese Museum House of Sheikh Safi, and wrote: "Ardabil House of Chinese Museum is witnessing the prosperity of the old Silk Road and the long history of friendship between China and Iran."
Still, Chang Hua in another tweet wrote: "My wife and I, had a three-day visit to Ardabil. Here, we deeply feel the beauty of natural site and people's hospitality."
Sheikh Safiuddin Ardabili Complex, Heiran Pass, Shourabil Lake, Sarein city town with natural-therapeutic hot water, and Hir glass suspension bridge are some of the tourist sites of Ardabil province.
