IP - Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abas Araghchi after meeting with Iraqi officials, departed Baghdad for Muscat on Sunday evening.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Araghchi in Muscut met his Omani counterpart Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi on Monday morning and two diplomats discussed the latest developments in the region especially Israeli brutal attacks at Gaza and Lebanon.

Araghchi and Busaidi discussed about Israeli regime’s crimes in Palestine and Lebanon and the possibility of an expansion of war in the region.

In a post on his X account, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said Araghchi and Busaidi had “very rich” deliberations on issues of mutual interests and concerns based on deeply rooted brotherly relations between the two nations.

“They exchanged views about the alarming situation in the region and urged an immediate end to Israeli regime's genocide and aggression in Gaza and Lebanon,” Baghaei wrote.

Iranian Foreign Minister in his regional tour visited Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.

Aragchi in Muscat met with Mohammad Abdul Salam, spokesman of Houthi Ansarallah Movement and senior negotiator of Yemen's national salvation government.
