Iran Press/ Asia: Morteza Eslampanah, head of Iran's National Standards Organization, emphasized that the organization is the sole authorized body for issuing Halal certificates and logos in Iran.
He underlined the critical role of standards in ensuring product quality and facilitating international trade, describing them as a "safe harbor" for imports and exports.
Both Eslampanah and his Malaysian counterpart agreed on the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the areas of quality control and certification, with a special focus on Halal standards. This collaboration aims to boost the legitimacy and security of international trade between the two nations.
