Tehran (IP) - Speaking about the violations in the joint borders between Iran and Afghanistan, the Iranian Interior Minister said that the Taliban have been explained and the joint borders are tranquil.

Iran PressIran News: The Taliban's unfamiliarity with the border rules created tensions on the joint borders between the two countries, which were reacted by the Iranian Border Guards, and the officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran warned the Taliban.

"Iranian border guards are determined in performing their duties, but there will be problems in the joint borders, especially when the other side (Taliban) lacks a strong security system," added the Iranian Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi, regarding the border status in Sistan and Baluchestan, southeast of Iran.

Referring to Iran's border security and its decisive response to the violations in the borders, he says although terrorists are trying to violate the border security, they should know that they will face a decisive response from the Iranian side.
