TEHRAN (IP)- Iranian Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri held a phone conversation with the UAE's top diplomat, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to discuss issues of mutual interest and the latest developments in Gaza.

 Iran PressIran news:  Bagheri congratulated the UAE government and nation on Eid al-Adha and touched on the Israeli regime's brutal treatment of Palestinians in Gaza and other parts of Palestine. He emphasized that Muslim states should use all available means to end the Israeli regime's genocide in Gaza and support the oppressed people in the region.

The UAE foreign minister extended his condolences to the Iranian people and government on the martyrdom of the late President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian. He also highlighted the importance of delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza and taking effective measures to stop Israeli raids.

Sheikh Al Nahyan noted that the UAE is working to stop the war and send humanitarian aid to Gaza, calling it a "humanitarian task.

Earlier, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman, Nasser Kanaani, stated that the Palestinian nation's resolve to liberate their land and the holy city of Al-Quds from Zionist occupation will not be broken by the enemy's crimes in the Gaza Strip and West Bank.

In a message posted on X, Mr. Kanaani emphasized that Palestinian men, women, and children, despite their grief and suffering, remain strong and steadfast in their faith, patience, and determination.

He added that the Zionist enemy and its allies will ultimately be defeated by the Palestinian people's unwavering commitment to their cause.
