According to Iran press on Thursday "Ali Bagheri Kani", The Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, met and consulted with Ismaila Madior Fall, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Senegal during his trip to Dakar.
In this meeting, referring to the 9th High-Level Conference on Peace and Security in Africa, Bagheri said: "The intelligence of the nations and the vigilance of the African governments will not allow the Western colonialists to continue plundering Africa under the guise of development."
The Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs stated that the main root of insecurity in different regions of Africa and the source of production and promotion of terrorism in Africa goes back to the Western colonialists, and stated: "Iran is a reliable partner for African countries to establish stable security and sustainable development."
Referring to the cooperation between Iran and Senegal in the international arena, Bagheri stated: "Senegal's responsibility in the United Nations as Chairmanship of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People is a suitable platform for mobilizing the capacities of independent countries, including Islamic countries, to fulfill the rights of the Palestinian people."
In this meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Senegal also expressed his satisfaction with the process of bilateral economic cooperation and said that according to the calendar of bilateral cooperation, the fifth joint economic commission of the two countries will be held in Dakar soon.
Referring to Senegal's Chairman of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People in the United Nations, "Major Fal" said: "Dakar's positions are shared with Tehran on the Palestinian issue, and we demand an immediate end to these Israeli crimes in Gaza."
In the framework of constructive interaction with the world, the Islamic Republic of Iran does not only have a one-dimensional view of European countries, and the continent of Africa and Asia is emphasized by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
