During a telephone conversation, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi informed his Omani counterpart Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi that the relations between Tehran and Muscat are progressing across various aspects.

Iran Press/Iran News: Also, during this telephone conversation, the Omani Foreign Minister Al Busaidi congratulated Araghchi on his appointment as foreign minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran and wished him success and well-being.

In this conversation, Al Busaidi pointed out the Sultan of Oman's special attention to the relations between the two countries and its increasing development process and emphasized his readiness to work closely with his Iranian counterpart to follow up and implement the agreements of the heads of the two countries.

For his part, the Iranian foreign minister expressed his reciprocal readiness for close cooperation and interaction with the Omani official concerning issues of mutual interest in the bilateral, regional, and international areas.

Iran's new top diplomat added: “Fortunately Tehran-Muscat relations are expanding in all aspects."

Araghchi, highlighting the persistent obstacles encountered in the West Asia region, emphasized that maintaining discussions and collaboration among countries across different domains, including regional matters, could aid in addressing current issues and advancing shared interests.
