(IP)- The Iranian and French foreign ministers met and talked in Geneva.

Iran PressEurope:  During the meeting, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Catherine Colonna exchanged opinions about the current developments in Gaza. Both sides expressed their stances on the dimensions of the Gaza war and ways to end it. 

Bilateral issues and the continuation of joint consultations were among the key topics of discussion in the so-called meeting. 

Iran's Amir-Abdollahian, in a post on X, described the meeting with his French counterpart as "important."

"We had an important conversation regarding the developments in Palestine, bilateral, consular issues, and the prospects for relations between Iran and France," wrote the Iranian diplomat on X.

He also stated, "While warning about the consequences of the continuation of war crimes in Gaza, we emphasized the immediate cessation of genocide in Gaza, the sending of relief aid, and the exchange of civilian prisoners."
