The Foreign Minister of Iran, in a meeting with the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Moscow, considered the recent meeting between the presidents of the two countries as a turning point in bilateral relations.

Iran PressEurope: The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Jeihun Bayramov conferred on bilateral issues this evening on the sidelines of the meeting of the foreign ministers of the Caspian Sea littoral states in Moscow.

In this meeting, Iran's Foreign Minister stated that there are many issues for diverse cooperation between the two countries, adding: "In the political, economic, commercial and transit fields, bilateral ties are developing well."

The Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan also in this meeting said: "These meetings can help advance bilateral cooperation"

Today, Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs, while participating in the meeting of the foreign ministers of the five Caspian Littoral states  (Iran, Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan) to deliver a speech at the meeting, also met with the foreign ministers of Russia, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan discussing bilateral basis. 219
