Iran Press/Iran news: Companies from the provinces of Tehran, East and West Azarbaijan, Isfahan, Mazandaran, Khorasan Razavi, Zanjan, Hamedan, Qom, and Alborz, as well as companies from China, Turkey, India, Italy, and Pakistan are participating at the Iranian Leather and Shoes Industry Exhibition in Tabriz.
The city of Tabriz, the capital of East Azarbaijan province, is considered as the pole of leather production in Iran. In addition to supplying domestic markets to Iran, other countries, mostly China, Turkey, Italy, Spain, India, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, and Armenia import leather goods from Tabriz, Iran Press reported.
Iran is ranked 12th in the field of footwear exports. Italy and Turkey are the main manufacturers in the leather industry, which Iran ranked third in this regard.
The 21st editions of International Leather, hide and Footwear Exhibition of Iran is underway on July 23-26, 2019 in the Amirkabir Hall of the International Tabriz Exhibitions. 104/208
