Iran Press/Iran news: Millions of Iranian people have attended the farewell ceremony of Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, the late commander of Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) and his martyred companions in Tehran.
Iran Press News Agency correspondent interviewed mourners of Martyred Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani. One of the people said that Iran has many Soleimanies to replace him, I want to say to the world that if someone works for people we will be proud of such people.
Another Iranian in the rally said: This gathering of people mourning for a great man shows to the world that Iranian are united and we will take revenge of martyred Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani.
One of the mourners said: "I came here to say to the US that all people here want revenge for martyred Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani and we will support our supreme leader.
Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani liked all the people even with different ideas; he would not discriminate among people and put them in groups. He liked all the people and that is why today people from various walks of life and different kinds and styles are here.
One Iranian also said: " I consider myself as a martyred Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, and will breed my children like Martyred Soleimani. Our enemies should know that they put themselves in trouble by assassinating of Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani,
Another participant in the funeral ceremony of martyred Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani said: "We are proud of martyred Soleimani due to his efforts in the country. He spent all of his life working for the Islamic Revolution of Iran. Hereby we are showing to our enemies that they can not do anything."
Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani was assassinated along with several senior members of Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) on Friday Morning 3 January at Baghdad International airport.
