Iran Press/ Iran news: The "International Photo Award 5" photo exhibition, which includes photographs of nature, was opened Thursday in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Tehran at the garden of the embassy.
In the exhibition which is underway for one week, 21 artworks from 16 countries have been displayed.
The international exhibition was founded by Mehdi Shadizadeh in 2020, with Alireza Shadizadeh and Farhood Nasiri supervising the expo.
The festival is inspired by a 500-year-old tree in the suburb of Damavand, located in the village of Aro.
Abbas Kiarostami, an acclaimed director, and photographer has photographed this tree every year in different seasons.
The number “5” is derived from the movie “5” made by Abbas Kiarostami, which was published in 2003 and contains 5 scenes with an average duration of 16 minutes.
Life and natural beauty were the expo themes.
