Iran Press/Asia: According to the Iran Press News Agency, the representatives of Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Iran have two days to compete in the second World Nanotechnology Olympiad in Malaysia.
The director of the Permanent House of the International Nanotechnology Olympiad and the head of the Iranian team announced scientific assessment, innovativeness, and commercial viability as the three evaluation criteria of the judges to select the best research projects in this Olympiad.
The research project on hydrogen-free fuel production using sunlight belongs to the student group of Iran, consisting of Nima Dehghan and Hamidreza Ghorbani, together with Masoud Attapour as a supervisor, all from Isfahan University of Technology Iran selected and qualified for the Olympiad in Malaysia.
According to Hamid Reza Ghorbani, the water in the device is converted into hydrogen fuel by irradiating sunlight to the designed nanoplate.
A clean, cheap, and renewable fuel that turns into steam after burning, and if this fuel is used in cars and factories, the problem of air pollution will be solved forever.
The second World Nanotechnology Olympiad will end on Monday, November 28 with the introduction and honoring of the top groups. 204
