Tehran, (IP) — Mohammad Mahdi Kazemi, the Deputy of Secondary Education at the Ministry of Education, expressed optimism about the potential of the international festival called "Alef-Ta" to serve as a catalyst for the revival of Iran's education system.

Iran PressIran News: Kazemi highlighted the growing interest among elementary and high schools in participating in the "Alef-Ta" international festival. He believes that such festivals hold the promise of fostering a fundamental transformation in Iran's education landscape.

In an exclusive interview with Iran Press News Agency, Kazemi announced that a staggering 36,000 works from Iranian schools and 17 foreign countries were submitted to the festival. After a rigorous selection process, 300 works from Iranian schools and 9 works from foreign countries advanced to the final stage.

The National Festival was strategically designed to align with the goals outlined in the document for educational transformation in Iran, according to Kazemi. He further disclosed that the upcoming week will witness the culmination of the festival's final stages.

In addition to the main competition, Kazemi outlined other program highlights of the "Alef-Ta" festival. These include an exhibition showcasing 300 submitted works and live teaching sessions conducted by primary school teachers.

Kazemi also underscored the festival's objective of gathering ideas and experiences from teachers, administrators, activists, and educational groups within the Islamic world. The intention is to showcase these insights on an international stage.

Upon the conclusion of the festival, the most outstanding works will be honored, and the transformative and innovative ideas and experiences collected will be made available to teachers and educational activists worldwide, Kazemi confirmed.
