Tehran (IP) - The head of the Red Crescent Society, referring to the Israeli regime's hindrance of international aid to the oppressed people of Gaza, said that this aid is being destroyed in warehouses.

Iran PressIran news: Pir Hossein Kolivand, the head of Iran's Red Crescent Society, referred to the martyrdom of more than 30,000 people and the injuries of thousands of women and children in Gaza at the international congress 'Occupation of Palestine from the perspective of international law and the role of humanitarian rights in Gaza', adding: "there is no possibility of treatment for these people in Gaza."

The head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society announced the birth of 24,000 babies during this period and said that mothers and babies did not have any treatment options during this period.

Kolivand, referring that only 25% of international aid enters Gaza, continued: "The usurping Israeli regime has destroyed more than 75% of international aid for the people of Gaza by preventing humanitarian aid from entering."

Kolivand, noting that only 15 to 25 trucks enter Gaza every day after the inspection, added: "The Israeli regime has destroyed aid items by not complying with storage standards."

Iran's head of the Red Crescent, referring to the crime of the Israeli regime, said: "This regime targets health care centers and Red Crescent population with rockets. The Red Crescent Society, as the head of the National Humanitarian Committee, has counted 90 human rights violations by the usurping Israeli regime and reported them to the international system."

Kolivand about the content of this congress said: "In this congress, we benefited from scientists and activists in this field, and a large number of articles were presented and judged. 17 selected articles were presented in this congress. These articles are translated and made available to other researchers and published in scientific research journals."

Today, 21 countries are present in this congress online, and also 40 thousand domestic companies sent articles to this congress. 106 foreign guests and 70 non-governmental organizations are present in this congress and five specialized meetings will be held today, Kollivand concluded.  219
