Iran Press/Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Sunday, Iranian Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli at first offered his condolence over the martyrdom of Lieutenant-General Qassem Soleimani, the commander of Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC).
During the 127th round of Iran's Social Council meeting, he then noted, "At today's meeting, some very important issues were introduced including the capacities and abilities of religious institutions to help solve social issues, especially social harm."
He further stated: "Four reports were presented at the meeting. We have about 79,000 mosques in the country and some institutions that can help us all in the social field. The report being presented was a good report. The five priorities set by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution were reported. Given that the report was important and the people in the meeting had questions, we did not achieve a resolution in this session, so we will continue this topic in our next meeting."
"If we can create synergy and cooperation between religious institutions in the country, we can succeed in this field," Rahmani Fazli added.
