Iran Press/ Iran news: The tournament was designed based on the latest practical sniping guidelines with more than 20 international standard divisions.
The 2022 International Military Forces Sniper Competitions started on August 18 and will continue until 27, and snipers from seven countries, including Russia, China, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Zimbabwe, and two teams from the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) ground forces, will participate in this edition of the competition.
The best coaches and judges from the participating countries oversee the competitions, and the top teams will be announced after the results are known.
"The most important goals of holding military competitions, which started with the initiative of Russia, are to create friendship among friendly countries and to create empathy among them for economic and commercial exchanges, as well as to create military interaction in order to establish stable security and peace in the region and the world," said Commander of IRGC Ground Force Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour at the opening ceremony.
