Shiraz (IP) – May 2 is registered in the calendar of the Islamic Republic of Iran as Shiraz Day, and from May 5 to 11, it is called Shiraz Week.

Shiraz is green and spectacular in April and May.

The scent of orange blossom in the gardens and streets of Shiraz has caused many people and tourists to say that May is the "month of Shiraz."

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been many restrictions in tourist, artistic, and historical centers of Shiraz, and this week Shiraz does not host a large number of tourists as in previous years.

Shiraz, the capital of the Iranian province of Fars, has diverse tourism, cultural, literary, and historical capacities and is a tourism hub in southern Iran with a global reputation.
