Tehran (IP) - The Deputy Managing Director of the Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO) for Port Affairs announced that transit between India and Russia through Iran is 10 million tons of goods.

Iran PressIran News: According to Jalil Eslami, the Ports Organization has implemented several measures to promote convergence. As a result, Iranian companies can transport their goods via sea and land on the Moscow-Bombay route.

He also said: "From the beginning of 1402 (March 21, 2023) until now, 82 million tons of goods have been unloaded and loaded in the ports, which shows a five percent growth compared to the same period of the previous year."

Eslami noted: In the last 18 months, good measures have been taken by the Ports and Maritime Organization to strengthen the corridors passing through Iran.
