Iran Press/ Iran news: "The Zionist regime is also on a path of weakening," Major General Mohammad Baqeri told a gathering of senior defense officials on Saturday.
General Baqeri cited the failure of the US military adventurism in the region, most notably its disgraceful withdrawals from Iraq and Afghanistan, as a sign of the decline of the United States on the global stage.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran, with divine assistance, is gaining strength and utilizing its capacities for a leap forward in all areas," he noted.
General Baqeri also hailed the successful mission of the 86th flotilla of the Iranian Navy, which navigated around the world in a mission codenamed '360-Degree', sailing some 65,000 kilometers on the high seas.
"In this voyage, the message of power, peace, and friendship was conveyed to all continents and across oceans, demonstrating the power and geographically influential development of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran," he concluded.
