Iran's letter to The Hague:

Iran Press - Iran’s Ambassador to the Netherlands Hadi Farajvand, in a letter to the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), demanded that this legal body take immediate action against the crimes of the Zionist regime.

Iran Press/Europe: In this letter, the Iranian ambassador appreciated the attention and actions of Karim Asad Ahmad Khan, the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, in pursuing the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza.

He then pointed to the recent attacks of this regime that killed and injured thousands of civilians in Lebanon and called for immediate action to prevent the repetition of these crimes.

Farajvand emphasized that the Zionist regime has continued to commit genocide and war crimes in Gaza for a year with the support of the USA and other countries and has now expanded its war to Lebanon.

He added: The recent crimes of this regime in Lebanon, which have been widely committed against civilians, are clear examples of crimes against humanity. These barbaric acts are a serious threat to peace and security in the region and the world, and the international community must act quickly to end impunity and hold the officials of this regime accountable.

At the end of this letter, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasized the importance of global action to stop the violations of human rights by the Zionist regime and provide justice for the victims of these attacks and called for the unity of the international community against these injustices and support for human rights and human dignity.

Since October 7, 2023, the Zionist regime has launched a devastating war against the residents of the Gaza Strip, as a result of which, in addition to massive destruction and deadly famine, more than 42 thousand Palestinians, most of whom are women and children, have been martyred.

After turning the Gaza Strip into a ruin, the Israeli regime has launched massive attacks against various areas of southern Lebanon and UN peacekeeping forces, which has been met with global condemnation.

By humiliating the international community and ignoring the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council to immediately stop the war and the orders of the International Court of Justice regarding the need to prevent genocide and improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza, Tel Aviv continues its crimes in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. 204
