Iran Press/ Iran news: Participating in closing ceremony of the 17th International Imam Reza (PBUH) International Festival in Mashhad's Sepid Tower in northeast of Iran, on Sunday the Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Abbas Salehi said that Imam Reza (PBUH) is the connecting ring of Iranians, making them converge.
"Iranians have different ethnic and religious backgrounds, but Iran is blessed with four seasons, from a geographical, cultural and civilizational point-of-view," Salehi added.
800000 people from 17 provinces of Iran and six countries, including Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Ghana, Turkey and Iraq attended the 17th International Imam Reza (PBUH) Festival.
Top performers receive their prizes at the festivals of poetry in Turkish, Arabic and classical, writing a letter to Imam Reza (PBUH), travel writing, memoir writing, book reading movement, and memorising 40 Hadiths from Imam Reza (PBUH). 203/211/208
