Iran Press/ Iran News: The spokesperson of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Fredrik Dahl announced Director-General Rafael Grossi has offered to travel to Iran in order to find a mutually agreeable solution for the Agency to continue essential verification work.
Behrouz Kamalvandi, the spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), while confirming the visit of the IAEA Director General, stated that the most important topics of the talks in Tehran will be technical issues and preparation of grounds for the cessation of oversight beyond the safeguards and the Additional Protocol, and voluntary additional-supervisory measures.
Kamalvandi said IAEA's DG will arrive in Tehran on Saturday evening for technical talks with the AEOI and meet with the head of the organization and other Iran's officials on Sunday.
He also said that Grossi's visit would be about implementing the provisions of Iran's February 15 letter to the IAEA in line with the implementation of Article 6 of the resolution of the Iranian Parliament, which commonly known as the Strategic Action Plan to Lift Sanctions and Protect Iranian Nation’s Interests.
