The Centre for the Reception, Allocation, and Accommodation of Refugees in Syria announced that some 900 Syrian refugees crossed the Lebanon and Jordan borders, returning to their homeland.

Iran PressMiddle East: The center said in a statement Monday that 386 Syrian refugees managed to reach their homeland by crossing the two Yabous and Talkalakh crossings on the Lebanese border with Syria.

Another 496 refugees returned to their homeland by crossing the Jaber-Nassib crossing on the Jordan border, according to the Center.

715 of them are children and women.

Syria's population was more than 23 million before the crisis began in March 2011, but following terrorist groups attack on country nearly 12 million people have fled to various cities in Turkey and Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, and Europe in recent years.
