Beirut (IP) – Early this morning, Hezbollah launched two separate missile attacks targeting Israeli military forces near Lebanon's border with occupied territories, intensifying the ongoing tensions in the region.

Iran Press/ West Asia: The Hezbollah resistance movement announced that at 10:45 PM local time on Saturday, it had successfully targeted a group of Israeli infantry soldiers stationed at the “Ramiya” border point using guided missiles. Hezbollah said that several Israeli soldiers were killed in the attack, with others wounded.

In a follow-up strike at 11:30 PM, Hezbollah reported launching precise missile attacks on a gathering of Israeli soldiers near the "Al-Marj" base, further inflicting damage on Israeli soldiers.

Simultaneously, Israeli media reported that approximately 40 rockets were fired from Lebanon toward Israeli settlements in northern occupied Palestine. Warning sirens blared in several towns, including Kiryat Shmona, Kfar Giladi, Kfar Yuval, and Mas'ade in the Galilee Finger region.

Later in the morning, Hezbollah confirmed that it had again targeted Israeli military positions near the town of “Ma’aliya” on the Lebanon border with additional rocket fire.

The bravery of Hezbollah fighters on the battlefield in the past week has garnered praise, even from international media. American outlets, including CNN, noted that Hezbollah’s resilience has surprised many observers, especially following recent Israeli efforts to decimate the group's leadership, including its long-standing leader Hassan Nasrallah.

The Israeli military has so far confirmed the deaths of 14 soldiers in ground confrontations with Hezbollah over the past week, though Hezbollah claims the actual number of Israeli casualties is significantly higher.

In a recent report, CNN stated that the level of Hezbollah’s resistance has taken many by surprise, particularly given that Israel has recently martyred some of the group’s leadership, including its long-time leader, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

One Israeli soldier, who was deployed in Gaza from October to March and again in July and August, has now been reassigned to southern Lebanon. He commented on the contrast between the two conflicts, stating that the fighting on the northern border is very different from what we saw in Gaza.
