Beirut (IP) – Hezbollah, the Lebanese Islamic resistance movement, says Israel has used internationally banned cluster bombs during recent airstrikes in southern Lebanon. In a statement issued this morning, Hezbollah condemned the attacks, asserting that Israel targeted civilian areas in the villages of Hanin and Al-Tayiri.

Iran Press/ West Asia: "Amid the failure of international organizations to stop Israel’s ongoing crimes, the regime targeted Hanin and Al-Tayiri with internationally banned cluster bombs this morning," the statement read.

Hezbollah also expressed that they were not surprised by a "new brutal crime," stating that Israel has been escalating attacks against Lebanon and Palestine following the Israeli military's "humiliating failure" in direct confrontations with Hezbollah fighters.

The use of cluster munitions, which are banned under international law due to their indiscriminate impact on civilian populations, has drawn global condemnation in past conflicts.
