Iran's Health Minister said that the country has tighten rules to prevent using foreign universities as a tool for circumventing Iranian university entrance exam.

 

Iran Press/Iran: The minister of Health and Medical Education, Dr. Seyyed Hassan Ghazizadeh Hashemi said that Iran has tighten rules against efforts for circumventing Iranian university entrance exam.     

Iran Press correspondent: Have you taken any actions to prevent mis-employment in Medical education?

Health Minister: Well, significant decisions and actions have been taken by the Ministry of Health in order to prevent those who want to circumvent the Iranian university entrance exam known as Konkour by passing some of their college courses at one university in abroad (of course we had this limitation before which the university these people chose to study must be scored under 700) and then enter to the country to pursue their education. In 2019, it has been announced that those who studying abroad, must complete their course in order to gain access to education in the Iran. Some dealers were encouraging people, especially young people to study abroad and you have seen their advertisements. So in this regard, the necessary actions have been taken.
