Iran Press/ Iran news: Nowruz is the Iranians ancient spring holiday that dates back to more than 3,000 years ago.
The ceremony was held in Hamedan, west of Iran on Mar.15, 2022.
The "Tourism route of Iranian history and civilization on Nouwruz World" ceremony holds to introduce Iran's sightseeing and attractive sights.
Attending the ceremony, the Secretary of the National Commission for UNESCO in Iran says Hamedan is the historical gateway of the country's civilization and hope next month will be registered as UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Iran.
According to Hojjatollah Ayoubi, the purpose of the trip is to introduce the beauties, culture, art, and science of ancient Iran to the world.
Commenting on the significant characteristics of Ibn Sina (Ave Sina), he added: "Every year in the world, prizes in ethics and science are awarded to the well-known Iranian scientist."
Masoud Hosseini, Hamedan's mayor, also announced that serious steps are underway to register Hamedan as UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Iran.In the tourism route entitled "History and Civilization of Iran," three famous Iranian cities, Hamedan, Kermanshah, and Sanandaj, would be visited, depicting Nowruz rituals.
