Gaza (IP) – Hamas says Israel is committing "full-scale genocide" in northern Gaza, as the humanitarian crisis worsens due to the continued blockade on food and fuel supplies.

Iran Press/ West Asia: The situation, now in its fifteenth consecutive day of escalating violence, has prompted urgent calls for international intervention.

Sami Abu Zuhri, a senior Hamas official, condemned Israel’s genocidal campaign in northern Gaza, describing them as "fascist attacks" aimed at erasing Palestinian presence. Abu Zuhri said for 15 days, the Israeli occupation forces have relentlessly bombarded northern Gaza, destroying homes and cutting off essential supplies.

He stressed that the ongoing Israeli crimes in the area amount to genocide. “The international community must take immediate steps to impose sanctions on Israel's fascist regime,” Abu Zuhri urged, calling for accountability for the escalating atrocities.

Abu Zuhri further stated that Israel's decision to cut off internet access in northern Gaza was a deliberate attempt to conceal its war crimes. He also refuted Israeli claims that aid was entering the region, saying, "For more than two weeks, no aid has reached the people of northern Gaza, despite misleading media reports."

The Hamas official said the Israeli forces arrest or execute anyone attempting to leave the northern areas. He appealed to the global community to fulfill its responsibility to protect Gaza’s healthcare infrastructure, which is on the verge of collapse.

Blaming the United States and its allies for supporting Israel with weapons, Abu Zuhri insisted that they share responsibility for the ongoing humanitarian disaster. He also called upon the Arab and Islamic world to take action and thwart Israel’s plans, affirming that the Palestinian people remain committed to resistance and resilience in the face of occupation.
